Afamefuna Igwemba, a Nollywood actor and stand-up comedian better known as Klint da Drunk, has announced the demise of his father.
The ace comedian took to his social media page to break the sad news on Friday.
In the post, Klint da Drunk revealed how the development had left him unsettled, nothing he is already missing him.
He, however, did not disclose the cause or circumstances that led to his death.
“Oh death, where is thine sting? Oh grave, where is thine victory? Can’t believe I just lost you daddy!!! Good night daddy. Rest in the Lord’s bosom. I miss you so much already. May your lovely and gentle Soul rest in perfect peace! Amen!” he wrote on Instagram.
The development comes about a year after the Anambra-born actor cum entertainer had a close shave with death during an auto-crash along Bauchi-Jos road.
He had while narrating the incident attributed his survival to divine help, citing the devastating nature of the situation.
“I was screaming ‘Jesus’ at a speed of about 100km/h. We rammed right into the back of this truck but got out with very minor injuries. How the tail of the truck was stopped from causing major damage on us is just God’s doing,” he had said in August 2019.
