Magodo Phase 1 area of Lagos went agog as families, friends and loved ones on Saturday, 5th December 2020 gathered to felicitate with Pastor Abayomi Awe, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Rehoboth Confectionaries, the makers of one of the most popular bread in Lagos, who marked his 50th birthday in grand style.
The event which held in
Lagos was a low key celebration due to COVID-19 restrictions but had a circle
of close friends, business associates, and colleagues who gathered under the same roof to wine, dine and pray with the silent achiever as
he marks a milestone.
The celebrant has had a
stint in human resources management before emerging as an executive business
manager. He has a cumulative of over 22 years of working experience, spanning through
different sectors like information technology, education and advertising.
He also doubles as an
ordained minister of God in Christ Gospel Apostolic Church Lagos Area and
Overseas; where he serves as a role model and mentor to many youths. He is also
the vicar in charge of CGAC Chapel of Wonders, Victoria Island.
He is a regular speaker
at conferences, seminars and meetings and has tutored many in the area of FMCG,
Economics and Financial Management, not to forget that he is also a versatile
teacher of the word.
Pastor Awe is happily
married to his ever-supportive wife, Funmi Awe, the CEO of BMG Innovative Services and they are blessed
with two beautiful daughters.
