Abdulrasheed Bawa, the new chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the statehouse, Abuja, on Thursday.
The national assembly confirmed Bawa as the chairman of the anti-graft agency on Wednesday.
Bawa was screened for over two hours on the floor of the upper legislative chamber before he was confirmed.
