Saturday,
May 8, 2021, will continue to remain fresh in the memory of a fast-rising Lagos
based cartoonist and trained Journalist, Marvel Mudiaga Onomroba and his
beautiful princess, Evi Idowu Doherty, as they took a bold step to commit their
future to one another in a journey of no return.
The
bright Saturday morning brought memories that will be forever cherished by this
couple when they said I DO to one another before God and man at the Season of
Prayer and Grace Ministry, Ikorodu, Lagos.
Fast
forward to the reception where there was maximum entertainment with more than
enough food, drinks music and dance, the JITKOK event centre in Ikorodu, venue
of the reception party literally came alive.
One Event Two Live Bands
Did we tell you that there were two live bands at this event? Yes, there were. The God Choice Band band took care of the church service and some part of the reception before the Heavenly Worshippers Crew (HWC) thrilled the guests. The wedding reception could have as well passed for a mini-concert as the bands were dishing out inspirational and entertaining songs.
MC Moskey Was The Party Plug
MC
Moskey is one of the new generation comperes making wave in the industry. He is
not just a compere of repute, he is also a singer, dancer and standup comedian.
He is a complete entertainer for any event. His real name is Akinbiyi Oluwaseun,
he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry and that
is why most of his fans call him The BIG BRAND. MC Moskey was the anchor of the
reception party and he didn’t let his guests down, he thrilled, performed and
made everyone’s more entertaining than they envisaged.

Traditional Attire
Anyone
conversant with a traditional Delta wedding would know that both the bride and the groom often make statements with their outfits and it was the same with Evi and
her handsome husband, Marvel. They were both adorned in a white and gold traditional
Delta George which spelt out the beauty of the Delta culture.

Pastor
and Mrs Doherty Oghoemu, the parents of the bride and Pastor Lucky Onomroba and
Mrs Yemisi Ayewumi were full of joy and gratitude to God and all their guests
for making the special there very pleasant indeed. They danced in such a way
that no one needed to be told that they were super excited for their wards.

Topest Imagery, Seun Ajimoko (Jwest), DJ Onos, to mention but a few.
Also
present were men of the DSS, Police officers, members of the Nigerian Army and
the local vigilante group. They not only provided security, but they were also an
integral part of the merriment.
