Sergio Ramos Dumped Out of Spain's Squad For Euro 2020

Former national team captain, Sergio Ramos has been left out of Spain's squad for Euro 2020.

Ramos is Spain's all-time appearance maker with 180 caps and is their eighth-highest scorer.

He started nine out of Spain's 10 qualifying games and was the only player from the current crop who was part of the team that won Euro 2008 to end La Roja's 44-year wait for a major trophy.

But he has had a campaign riddled with injuries and only made 21 appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid this term, including 15 LaLiga games.

When he has played, such as in Real's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final second leg, he has looked rusty and off the pace.

The team list includes the following:

Goalkeepers: Unai Simón, De Gea, Robert Sánchez

Defenders: Gayá, Alba, Pau Torres, Laporte, Eric García, Llorente, Azpilicueta, Marcos Llorente

Midfielders: Busquets, Rodri, Pedri, Thiago, Koke, Fabián,

Forwards: Olmo, Oyarzabal, Morata, Gerard, Ferran Torres, Adama, Sarabia
