Hon Opeyemi Apatira, the councillor-elect of Ward A, Ojodu LCDA has sent his appreciation to all APC leaders in the state and members in the LCDA and most emphatically, to the electorates who made sure that he won at the polls on Saturday.
Apatira was elected as the councillor of Ward A,
Ojodu LCDA on Saturday, July 24, 2021, after polling a total of 1065 votes under
the guise of the All Progressives Congress, APC compared to a mere 145 votes
garnered by his PDP counterparts.
The young IT guru who delved into politics as a way
of bringing development to his immediate environment has also promised to make
the people of his ward enjoy the dividends of democracy.
In a message sent to journalists, Hon Apatira said ‘I
want to thank the people of ward A, Oluwole, Sogunro, Face Two and Adekunle
village for their belief in me and I want to assure them that there will be
visible changes in our ward this time around.
I am going to ensure an all-inclusive representation
where all members of the ward will have their interests fully represented.
’My sincere appreciation goes to our leaders in the
party both at the state and local government level. Getting this mandate wouldn’t
have been possible if not for their timely intervention and support.
‘On the final note, together we believe we can make
Ward A and Ojodu LCDA at large move from the level it is now to a higher realm.’
