Fulani-Led Okada Riders Ban Commercial Motorcyclists From Operating In Lagos

Sequel to a fracas that ensued between policeman and commercial motorcyclists also known as Okada, that led to the death of one police officer in the Canoe axis of Lagos, a Fulani-led  ban has been imposed on the activities of Okada riders in Ijegun, Isheri, Jakande Estate and Ajao areas of Lagos.

Commuters were left stranded across the above mentioned areas due to this self-imposed ban on the transporters.

InfoOnlineNews witnessed some Fulani boys who posing as Okada riders forcefully seizing the bikes of other riders who refused to comply by the orders inside Jakande Estate in Isolo, Lagos.

According to details from some of the riders, the Fulani riders are protesting because they felt that they are being witch-hunt by the Nigerian Police Force.

All the protesters declined speaking to our reporter as of the time of filing-in this report.

Further details shall be provided shortly.
