The
entire Ijebu-Ode and environ stood shook to its roots on Sunday, December 26,
2021, as a popular businessman, Alhaji Kamiludeen Babatunde Akanbi Osinusi and his
beautiful wife, Alhaja Rashidat Abiodun Ayoka Osinusi bagged prestigious
chieftaincy titles of the Ansar-ud-deen Society in Ijebuland.
The beautiful couple was filled with ecstasy as their family, friends and loved ones trooped in from all over the country into Ijebu Ode to felicitate with them. Alhaji Kamiludeen became the Borikini Adini while his wife was named the Mopelola Adini of the popular Ansar-ud-deen Society. The event had so much pomp, pageantry, fashion and style as well as maximum entertainment.

TURBANING
HELD AT ANSAR-UD-DEEN MOSQUE, IJEBU ODE
The
day opened with the turbaning ceremony that held at the Ansar-ud-deen Mosque
situated along Otta Street, Ijebu Ode. Sheikh Imam Oredipe Mustapha Al-Adaby,
the Missioner of ADS Ijebu Ode led other clerics in the turbaning process for
the new chiefs. Sheikh Abdulrasaq Lukman Al Mubarak sermonized the guests and
equally prayed for the new chiefs for more blessings to be involved in more
works for Allah and humanity.
BARR
WAHAB OLANIRAN OSINUSI CHAIRS EVENT
The
Chairman of the day was Barrister Wahab Olaniran Osinusi, the head of the
Osinusi dynasty in Ijebu Ode. He is the Otunba Fidipote of Ijebuland and has a
very strong influence in Ijebu and Nigeria at large. He was saddled with the
responsibility of delivering a speech at the event and while doing that, he
encouraged the new chiefs to keep representing the Osinusi family well as they
have been doing all the while.
Celebrants
Storm Event In All-White Attires
Being
a holy gathering, the celebrants of the day, Alhaji Kamiludeen and Alhaja
Rashidat Osinusi stormed the event in all-white outfits. Starting from the car
they rode to the mosques down to every other material on them, it was an
all-white affair. The celebrants made huge fashion statements, particularly
Alhaja Rashidat whose jewelries were not just sparkling but super expensive
too.

THE NEW BOROKINI AND MOPELOLA ADINI OF ADS IJEBU LAND
Alhaji
Kamiludeen Babatunde Akanbi Osinusi was born in the royal house of Osinusi
Ruling House of Fidipote, from Alhaji & Alhaja Musulumi Olatunde Osinusi.
He attended Otubu Memorial Primary School for his primary education and Christ
Church Comprehensive High School Sabo, Molode, Ijebu Ode for his Secondary
Education. He moved to Lagos for training on Spare parts & accessories in
1990 to 1997 in Idumota Lagos Island before the Lagos government later moved them
to Trade Fair Complex in Mile 2/Festac axis in the year 1997.
Alhaji
Kamiludeen Osinusi is the CEO of Baboshi International, a big-time dealer &
supplier of all motor spare parts & accessories. He is a successful
entrepreneur, a philanthropist, a generous & cheerful giver, who has helped
many successful businessmen & women in various ways to achieve their goals
in life.
He
has travelled around the world for his business. He has visited China, India,
The United Kingdom, the United State of America & many more countries. He got
married to his lovely amiable wife Alhaja Ayoka Abiodun Osinusi in 1999 and The
Almighty Allah has blessed them with 4 lovely children, namely: Dr Moshood Osinusi (US), Miss Samiat Osinusi
(BSc), Miss Kamilat Osinusi and Mr Faosiu Ishola Osinusi.
Alhaja
Olori Rashidat Osinu is a stunning beauty who was born into the royal family of
Adeola ruling house in Oyo State to Alhaji & Alhaja Abdul Ganiu Ayotunde
Adeola. Alhaja Rashidat started her Nursery and Primary Education at Brighter
Star Nursery and L.M.L.G Primary School at Igbobi Sabe, Fadeyi and Lagos City
College Sabo, Yaba, for her Secondary Education. She also attended Yaba College
of Technology for Administrative Course.
She
established her own business named Boshi Rashy Nigeria Enterprises (Importer
& Exporter of Shoes, Bags and General Merchandise). She is a successful
businesswoman; philanthropist who finds everyone that comes around her ways to help. She is also a generous woman & a cheerful giver; she has travelled
around the world based on her business connections. She is happily married to
her lovely husband and a hardworking man.

MEN AND WOMEN STORM THE MOSQUE
At
about halfway into the turbaning ceremony, the Mosque hall was already filled
with popular faces from across the country who came to felicitate with the
celebrants. Spotted in the hall was Alhaji Babatunde, Aremu Ojekunle, CEO Salem,
Chief Mohammed Isola Abiodun, Alhaji Ariyo Osu, Alhaji Abdulateef Ololade
Sanusi, Alhaji Ojikutu Ahmed Adeniyi, CEO Passy V and President, Computer
Village Market Association. Alhaji Raji Onasanya and many more.
ACE
PARTY PLANNERS PLANNED THE EVENT
Ace
Party Planner is a top-notch event planning firm with a strong presence in
Lagos, Abuja and other parts of the country, particularly the South-West. Ace

CONFERENCE HOTEL IJEBU ODE Completely Shut Down
The
popular Conference Hotel in Ijebu Ode was completely shut down by the celebrants
and their guests on this day. Reports have it that some of the guests had been
in Ijebu Ode on Saturday night while others passed the Sunday night after the
event there. It was quite easy for guests to relax well after the party ran
into the night because the next day was a public holiday.
The
Obalofin Hall inside the conference hotel was completely transformed into a
party hub by the event décor, they set the mood right while the guests had a
swell time when the party finally started.
POPULAR IJEBU AGE-GROUPS CAME THROUGH
Being
a proper Ijebu Ode son, the Borokini Adini was able to pull some of the popular
Ijebu age grades to the event. They didn’t only come, they also made their
presence known on the stage when it was time to spray the cash. Egbe Bobagunte Akile Ijebu Okunrin and Egbe
Arobayo were fully represented and recognized at the event.
BALOGUN
MARKET WOMEN SHOWED MUCH LOVE
Would
anyone not notice the Balogun Market Women? That would probably be impossible.
They came in their numbers and in the required party Aso-Ebi. They also proved
their worths on the dance floor. A further finding revealed to InfoOnlineNews that
they are all close business associates of the new Mopelola Adini of ADS, Ijebu
Ode. Some of them are Mrs Folashade
Olorunosebi, Alhaja Mariam Hassan, Alhaja Omolara Sunmola, Alhaja Aishat
Owoyalumo, Mrs Ayoka Fatimo, Mrs Saliu Remilekun, Mrs Sugbobo Iyabosola and Mrs
Folashade Adesanya.
QUEEN
SALAWA ABENI ON THE BANDSTAND
The
entertainment was superb and a veteran was behind the microphone; it was Queen
Salawa Abeni, the popular Waka Queen. Having been in the business for many
decades, Queen Salawa Abeni did so well. She brought out the best of the
guests, virtually everyone was on their feet when the “gbedu” finally entered
body.
ASPAMDA
MARKET TRADERS TOOK OVER
Members
of the Auto Spare Parts and Machinery Dealers Association (ASPAMDA) Market at
the Trade Fair Complex, Lagos came en masse to the event. At the heat of the
party, many people were asking who those that took over the stage were. Only
City People was able to provide the answer. They were a different breed of
spenders and many of them were non-Yoruba speakers but they surely know how to
rock Yoruba owambe.
MEET
MEMBERS OF THE HIGH TABLE
Of
course, there were top dignitaries at the table and they were well recognized.
They equally proved to the guests that they deserved to be at the high table
when it was their turn to dance with the celebrant. Queen Salawa Abeni and her
band members also enjoyed the largesse that flowed from them. Spotted on the
high table was Alhaji Sulaimon Bamidele Yusuf and his wife, Alhaja Nurat
Okikiola-Yusuf. They are the Chairman and First Lady of Surulere Local
Government, Lagos. Also, there was Baale
Adeyemi and Olori Ouwatoyin Amele, Alhaji Abdulhameed Taiwo Elegbede, Dr
Agbato, Mr and Mrs Awopetu Peters.
