DUBLIN Celebrity Lady, Olusola Kayode-Odeyemi Buries Mum In LAGOS

Friday, 26th March 2022, was a great day in Lagos as family friends and loved ones trooped in to show their love and support for Mrs Olusola Kayode-Odeyemi, a Dublin based celebrity woman who buried her mother, Snr. Prophetess Christine Oluremi Asubiaro in Lagos.

Mrs Olusola Odeyemi was full of gratitude to God who made it possible for her to be there at the grand celebration. She flew in with her entire family and spent a few days in Lagos in preparation for the big day.
It all started with the church service at the Cherubim and Seraphim Alafia parish in Agege, Lagos.

Popular men and women of high reputation were present. The preacher was Prophetess Victoria Samuel. She is also the founder of C&S Alafia Model Parish in Dublin, Ireland. She encouraged the children of the deceased to mourn because there is a hope of meeting their beloved mother again when Christ comes to take his children home.

She equally encouraged the congregation to be mindful of the kind of life they are currently living, so that they can end well like all the matriarchs of faith.

Fast-forward to the cemetery where Senior Prophetess Asubiaro was laid to eternal rest. It was at Omega Cemetery in Ojodu-Abiodun, around the Berger axis of Ogun State. It was a short, but emotional service. Madam Olusola Kayode-Odeyemi, her husband, Kayode and children were there.
Her other siblings and close friends were present too.

It was an emotional moment for the children of the deceased. They all wept profusely as they saw the remains of their mum being lowered into the grave.

One would have thought that the ever-strong Olusola would not break down but she did. It is not easy waving goodbye to one’s mother, therefore, it wasn’t easy for her not to let her emotions out.

Let’s quickly inform you that Rev. Dr Adetunji  Ajeonigbabe, the founder of Celica Church of Christ was present at the funeral service. InfoOlineNews gathered that the late Snr. Prophetess Asubiaro had a stint at his church. She was one of the pillars of the church during her heydays. He was spotted giving cash gifts to all the children of the deceased.

The reception of the party was held at the popular 10 degrees event centre in Oregun-Ikeja, Lagos. It was an eventful evening, as society women and men of high-class fully occupied the venue. It was beautifully decorated with a touch of White and Purple.

The Mayegun of Yorubaland, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (K1) was on the bandstand. Trust K1 to be your party plug anytime any day. He delivered from the word go, till the very end. The party wasn’t just another burial party; it was an event that would linger on in the minds of those who attended and those who heard about it.

We almost forgot to tell you that Mrs Olusola Kayode-Odeyemi is a great fashionista. Her high fashion style was revealed at the event. She changed twice. She wore 2 very expensive outfits. The first was an expensive lace with a torch of wine and brown colour. The second was a well-styled sequence cord lace outfit. It was glittering such that it made a statement wherever she went. The lace was combined with beautiful wine and purple headgear (gele).
InfoOnlineNews gathered that her second outfit cost about 600 thousand naira, and that excluded the 18-karat gold she wore at the two different times.

Another talking point was when she mounted the stage for her dance. A lot of top society men and women accompanied her. Her group of friends from Ireland, Canada and the US were also spotted spraying her cash as K1 serenaded her.

Her husband, Mr Kayode Odeyemi was among those who made huge cash statements at the party. He was seen spraying his wife and her friends on the dance floor. For about 30 minutes, all K1 was sing-praising were the Odeyemi couple. A lot of their friends call them The Power Couple because they are not slowing down on the display of affection for each other, even after over two decades of marriage.

Another person InfoOnlineNews can't but mention at the event is Mrs Funke Adeyemi, popularly called Alhaja Kafilat. She stood solidly behind her friend at the party. She was spotted catering to the needs of some of the guests.

When it was time to dance, she took the lead. We also spotted Mama Kofoshi,a pretty and fair-skinned society woman. Her real name is Bolaji Amoke Oyedepo. She was among those who made cash statements on the dance floor.

All in all, it was a day to remember for Olusola Kayode-Odeyemi, her siblings, husband and children. Their mother enjoyed luxury during her lifetime and even in death.
The event will remain one of the most talked-about in Lagos for a long time to come.
