Weeks after the news of Oluwo of Iwo land Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi taking a new wife whose identity was undisclosed, the Iwo king has finally revealed the identity of the Iwo-queen-to-be.
On Saturday, March 19, 2022, Oba AKanbi will be taking Princess Hajia Firdauz as a new queen after 3 years of divorce from his estranged wife, Chanel Chin.
Ms Chin is the daughter of Jamaican reggae star, Ludlow Chin also known as “Bobo Zaro” who is best known for the song ‘Pain’, a collaboration with Capleton.
The wedding is set to hold at the residence of Alhaji Yusuf Nabanahi, Madakin Kano.
Ladies' reception will hold at the Palace of the Emir of Kano. HRH Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.
The entire Iwo town is already making preparation for the new queen.
