On Saturday 28th of May 2022, the family of Adedoyin held a 15th and 10th-year remembrance party for their late grandmother, Mama Florence Ilori Adedoyin Adeyefa and father Pa. Osuolade Alabi Adedoyin Adeyefa in Ikeja, Lagos.Event
The
party held at StadPlus Events Center in Ikeja, Lagos. The venue was well
decorated and well planned. It started with a short church service, which was
conducted by Pastor Adeyemi Femi. He was also the MC of the event. There was
also a special hymn session which was coordinated by Pastor Dele Adedoyin.
Mrs
Tale Adedoyin, Mr Idowu Adesanya, Mr Sunday Opeifa and Mr Olorunnisola Akin
all spoke about Mama Florence Ilori Adedoyin Adeyefa and Pa Osuolale Alabi
Adedoyin Adeyefa, they noted that their late parents ensured that they help
everyone that comes across them.
Mr
Shepard Gbenga Olaifa also revealed that he was a student of Pa Osuolale Alabi
Adedoyin Adeyefa in 1977 and his impacts on him are still very evident in his
life today.
One
of their grandchildren, Emmanuel Adedoyin recited the profile of Pa Osuolale
Alabi Adedoyin and many things people didn’t know about his life were revealed.
Pastor
Olabode Oni while sermonizing preached from Proverb 10 v 7. He encouraged the
congregation to live their lives in such a way that they will remain a
reference point many years after their demise

After
the short church service, the event took another shape as Dj Marion turned up
music back to back. While the music was going you’ll notice the presence of a popular
drink vendor, Bonix Drinks. The CEO and her boys were going up and down serving

Osuolale Alabi Adedoyin Adeyefa was blessed with lovely children who live in
Nigeria and London. They are Mrs Ajibola Mojisola Adedoyin, Pastor Oladele
Adedoyin, Mrs Adebola Oladiti, Mrs Abosede Adeni, Mr Oladapo Adedoyin and
Mr Adebowale Adedoyin.
They
were all present at the party to honour their parents.

Mrs
Ajibola Mojisola Adedoyin is a businesswoman who stays in London. She flew in
with many of her friends to attend the party. She stunned in a classy white

TELL YOU ABOUT THE LATE PA OSULALE ALABI ADEDOYIN ADEYEFA
Pa
Osuolale Alabi Adedoyin was born to the family of late Pa Joseph Adisa Adedoyin
Adeyefa of Lowa Agidi Compound Ajamopo, Ile-Ife Osun State on 13th August 1948. He was the only child of his mother late Madam Florence Ilori Adedoyin -
Adeyefa.
He
attended Salvation Army Primary School lIe-Ife, Ansar-ul-Deen Secondary Modern
School, IIoro, Ile-Ife and St. John’s Grammar School, lIe-Ife.
He
started his teaching career as an auxiliary teacher at Ansar-UI-Islam Primary
School, Sabo, Ile-Ife in the year 1972. He proceeded to further his course in
the year 1974 at Government Teachers’ Training College, Surulere, Lagos. Asa
Grade Two Teacher, he taught at L.A. Primary School Imota, now L.G. Primary
School Imota in July 1975. He was redeployed to Imota Community Grammar School
in 1977 as Mathematics and Integrated Science teacher due to his additional
qualifications. During his stay at this Grammar School, he went to the
University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba in the year 1980 where he obtained his
Associateship Diploma Certificate in Mathematics and Integrated Science, he
later proceeded to pursue his first degree in Education in Mathematics and
Chemistry at the same Institution, unfortunately, he withdrew from the course
in 1983 due to eye injury he sustained in the Chemistry Laboratory which almost
took his two eyes.
He
worked at the Personnel Management, Educational Services and Inspectorate
Department of the defunct S.M.C. Irepodun, Ikorodu Local Government. He also
served as a free assistant head teacher in St. John’s Anglican Primary School,
Imota, L.G. Primary School, Imota and Methodist Primary Schoollmota, Lagos
State.
He
later proceeded to Ogun State College of, Education, Ijebu-Ode for his National
Certificate in Education in 1989, also obtained a first degree in Health
Education from the University of Ibadan in the year 2001.
He
served as the headteacher of C.P.S Imota, Methodist Primary School Imota, U.N.A
Primary School Oke-Agbo, Anglican Primary School Akahun, Anglican Primary
School Ijede and Ayanqbunre Primary School Ikorodu where he retired statutorily
from the teaching service of Lagos State as Assistant Director of Education on
13th March 2007.
Before
his retirement, he had served as the Deputy Chairman N.U.T Ikorodu Chapter,
Secretary COPSHON Ikorodu Branch and also a member of the Education District
Committee, Ikorodu Lagos State.
After
his retirement, he wrote a book on “The control of the spread of HIV-Aids in
Nigeria” which he was unable to publish because of his death.
Late
Osuolale Alabi Adedoyin was a man of high integrity, a lover of everyone and
always ready to give assistance to people around him. He was married to Mrs
Rebecca Adenike Adedoyin (Nee Adenekan) and they both lived together until his
death on 14th June 2011. Adieu Grand Pa you will always remain in our hearts,
May your soul continue to rest in perfect peace, Amen.
