IK Osakioduwa now is the preferred host of all the big-time entertainment programmes in the industry. A list celebrities and politicians feel very comfortable when IK Osakioduwa hosts their events and programmes.
This
extremely talented guy charges millions of naira per event and he remains one
of the very best in the industry.
His
journey into the entertainment industry has been very steady and highly
impressive.
He
graduated from King’s College and then studied Economics at the University of
Lagos. While studying he took part in many stage plays and concerts, where he
discovered and groomed his talent as a master of ceremonies and host. After
graduating from University, he worked for Rhythm 93.7FM as a presenter
popularly known as a wild child. He is blessed with a sense of humour and a great
personality.
After
his National Youth Service Corps, he hosted Temptation Nigeria Show with Kemi
Adetiba. He also presented Studio 53 Show, which showcases cultural events,
historical places, music, art, design, fashion and celebrity personality from
across the African continent.
Then
he started hosting the Big Brother Reality Series in September 2009 taking
over from Kabelo Ngakane.
Big
Brother Africa went on to become a phenomenal success, putting Osakioduwa in
the Continental Spotlight. The following year, he became the sole host.
His
enthusiasm and passion made him a big sensation and the show was seen by
millions of viewers on the continent. He eventually made a deal with Mnet
Africa to continue to host Big Brother Africa, making him the most sought-after
reality television host in Nigeria and Africa to date.
IK
started as host of the radio programme “Rap Kulture”. He has been the host for
almost all the shows for Rhythm 93.7 FM at one time or another. He is also on
the “Mourning Drive With Co-host, Anita
‘Omalicha’ and ‘Dance Party With IK’.
In
December 2012, similar to the ones in Time Square (New York), Beijing, Dubai, and Shanghai, he hosted the Lagos countdown show with Co-hosts, Ariyike Akinbobola,
which is the first of its kind in Nigeria.
