90% of the World's Population Breathes Polluted Air - WHO



The World Health's Organisation, WHO has revealed that 90 percent of the world's population breathes polluted air.

In that regard, the WHO has issued a new set of guidelines on air quality. To protect your health, the WHO recommends reducing exposure to 6 air pollutants. 


Breathing poor quality air can affect our lungs, heart and breathing. This can lead to diseases such as pneumonia, heart attacks and strokes. 


People with existing health conditions risk severe COVID-19 infections. Places with air pollution have more cases of severe COVID-19 infections.
