Grammy award winner Burna Boy has reacted to the most streamed movie at the moment, Squid Game.
The self-acclaimed African giant has said the blockbuster fictional series reflects a sad reality.
Squid Game is a South Korean survival drama television series streaming on Netflix where hundreds of cash-strapped contestants accept an invitation to compete in children’s games for a tempting prize, but the stakes are deadly.
Reacting to the movie, the “Twice as Tall” singer said it depicts the bitter reality of how people actually don’t care and sabotage each other once their survival is at stake.
According to ‘Odogwu’, such a reality as portrayed in the TV series shatters his heart.
He wrote: “Squid Games is actually the reality of how No one really Truly Loves Anyone when it comes down to Survival. A reality that breaks my heart.”
