Why Charles Soludo's Inauguration Will Only Last 20 Mins. - Comm For Info, Don Adinuba

Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Don Adinuba has stated that there would be no fanfare at the governor-elect, Charles Soludo’s inauguration on March 17, 2022.

He also added that the inauguration would only last for twenty minutes.

Adinuba said that the practice of hosting a crowd and having fanfare that normally characterised the inauguration of governors in the state would no longer be tolerated, noting that Soludo would swing into action immediately after inauguration.

“There is no room for an elaborate celebration because there would be only 50 persons that would be in attendance at the inauguration. Of course, there will be family members, party and officials who will be served finger foods, water and beverages.

“As a matter of fact, the entire ceremony would last for about twenty minutes and the governor would commence work immediately at Okpoko town in Ogbaru Local Government Area on that day,” the commissioner said.

Confirming the Commissioner’s position, a media assistant to Soludo,  Mr Jeo Anatune said that the commissioner may be right in what he is saying because there will be no time to waste after the inauguration.

“This inauguration will be different. One thing that is certain and it will mark a change of power without the usual fanfare,” he said.
