As part of the activities mapped out to celebrate music legend, Evangelist (Prof.) Ebenezer Obey (MFR) at 80, his church, Decross Gospel Mission will be holding an 80th Birthday Anniversary Thanksgiving in his honour on Sunday 3rd April 2022 at Decross Gospel Mission, 13/15, Oyewole road, Mulero Bus-Stop, Agege, Lagos.
On that day, the
Elders in-council and The Pastorate of the church will lead other church
members to celebrate their General Overseer.
Already, Bishop
Folarin Obey, the Presiding Bishop and Deputy General Overseer and Elder Hon.
Olayinka Ogundimu the Chairman, Planning Committee, are working strenuously to
make the Sunday 3rd April 2022 event a grand one.
To also celebrate
Baba Obey at 80, he will soon be releasing a new album just like he did 5 years
ago when he clocked 75. His grandchildren are also waxing a record in his
honour.
The music icon told
City People last week, that he is humbled by the overwhelming love shown by his
fans, admirers all over the world who have been calling wanting to celebrate
the birthday with him.
The Sunday 3rd
April 2022 Birthday Anniversary Thanksgiving is being packaged, produced and
planned by the Decross Gospel Mission.
The IV is already
out, accompanied by the Aso-Ebi Ankara. Both come in a big box. It promises
to be a classy event.
