How Hon. Ladi Adebutu Celebrated His 60th Birthday

Months back, when Hon. Ladi Adebutu was planning his 60th birthday, he wanted to achieve one thing. He wanted to celebrate his birthday across the 3 senatorial zones in Ogun State.

He is from Ogun East. He is from Iperu and his mother is from Odogbolu. He wanted to also celebrate in Ogun West and Ogun Central. He wanted every part of the state to have a feel of his birthday.

Don't forget that he is a popular politician in Ogun State. He also has his eyes on the governorship of the state come 2023. So, he wanted to celebrate in such a big way that will make everyone in Ogun State hear about his celebration.

In a way, he achieved that. He had big events in the 3 senatorial zones. He also got Vice-President Atiku Abubakar to attend 2 of the events.

City People reveals that it was an 8-days whirlwind birthday celebration, across the length and breadth of Ogun State. It was the 60th birthday celebration of popular Ogun politician, Hon. Ladi Adebutu. He is not only from the popular Adebutu family in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, but he is also one of the guber aspirants jostling to take over as Governor in Ogun State, come 2023. Trust the politician in Hon. Ladi, it was his 60th, a few days back and he decided to mark it across the 3 senatorial districts of the state. So he moved from Ogun East to Ogun West and then Ogun Central, holding seminars and thanksgiving services.

He also had a big celebration in Abeokuta. The LADO@60 programme was an 8-day celebration that began on Tuesday, 15th February 2022 and ended on Sunday 6th March 2022.

The celebration kicked off with the Ladi Adebutu Good Governance Symposium (3rd Edition) held at His Place Event Centre, Ota. It was a whole day event. And on Friday, 18th February 2022, there was a Jumat Service at Ijebu-Ode Central Mosque.

The reception followed immediately at the Ijebu-Ode Club. The celebration continued on Sunday, 20th February 2022 with a Worship Service at the Christ Apostolic Church, Odogbolu. The reception followed immediately.

On Monday, 21st February 2022, what he called celebrating 6 Decades of Overflow took place at His Place Event Centre, Ota. Entertainment of party faithful took place at Honda Place, Ota.

2-days after, on Wednesday, 23rd February 2022, he hosted what he called The Remo Event, celebrating 6 Decades of Overflow at Remo Golf Course. Two days after, on Friday, 25th February 2022 he hosted a Private Event, which was the formal commissioning of an ultra-modern Meat Processing Plant. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was at the commissioning of the SKAAL Meet Processing Plant.

The next day, Saturday, 26th February 2022, there was another event, which was the celebration of 6 Decades of Overflow at Abeokuta Sports Club. This was a big and massive event held inside the new Kessington Adebutu Hall. The event was chaired by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Entertainment of party faithful was at the PDP party secretariat in Abeokuta.

And on Sunday, 6th March 2022, another Thanksgiving was held at The Celestial Church of Christ, Sagamu. And this was the grand finale.
