For
Lagos big babe, Abimbola Adefuye Adaramola, popularly called Yeyeoba, life
surely begins at 40. Last Sunday, precisely the 17th of July, this amazing lady
hosted friends and family to her lovely 40th birthday in Lagos. The families of
Adaramola and Adefuye gathered together to celebrate the beautiful life of
their daughter and daughter-in-law, who hit the big 40 in style. The birthday
party took place at the Ade-Adegbite Hall, of Shepherd Hill Baptist Church,
Obanikoro, Lagos.
Yeyeoba
surely had a filled day as she made herself happy all through. She had a lovely
time around her children and family. She looked very beautiful for the night
and opted for a sequined multicolour lace paired with green headgear. She later
changed to a beautiful black and gold sequined dress for her reception party
and her 3rd outfit was a lovely black dress. She glowed in all her outfits for
the day.
Her
husband is Barrister Kunle Adaramola, whom she bore 3 beautiful children for.
He was the perfect host for the day as his family stood in for him, making sure
his wife, children and all invited guests were well catered for. He lives
abroad and was not able to attend the party.
The
40th birthday party started with an opening prayer by Mrs Ogunshile and a few
minutes after, the anchor welcomed the guests, and made everyone dance. The
celebrant was then ushered in by her retinue of friends.
As
soon as she stepped into the hall, guests gave her a standing ovation. The
celebrant's mother, Chief (Mrs) Comfort Adefuye, popularly called Beere of the
Universe by her teaming friends and fans, was at the party to support her
daughter. She was one of the first callers at the event. She was spotted
wearing a beautiful yellow lace with a matching gele, she stood solidly behind
her daughter. She also brought in an entourage of celebrity women who came to
celebrate her daughter. So also was her Dad, Prince Ajibola Adefuye, he was
indeed the happiest seeing his daughter surrounded by friends and family.
The
birthday dinner venue was decorated beautifully in yellow and a touch of white
with the celebrant’s corner mounted on the stage and decorated in white colours.
Guests were treated to sumptuous meals and exotic drinks while a one-man music
band, Mr Don serenaded guests with lovely music and happy birthday songs for
the celebrant. One of the celebrant's friends handled the birthday toast while
Pastor (Mrs) Olajumoke Kosoko, one of the bosom friends of the celebrant's mum,
coordinated the cutting of the cake, she did it beautifully well and rained
showers of prayers on the celebrant and her family. What of the celebrant's
siblings? They outdid themselves as they stood behind and supported their
sister in making sure her birthday party was a success. The celebrant's
children also added colour to the event, her daughter Wuraola read her
biography while Obaloluwa gave the vote of thanks.
The
party ended with an all-dance party. It was fun all the way as the DJ supplied
both old and new school music and kept everyone dancing for hours. The yellow
colour dominated the event as many guests wore it. It was a colour which came
out well on all the guests. All the celebrant's friends turned up in yellow, and the celebrant's mum's friends also glammed up their fashion game. Amongst the

The
celebrant, Elizabeth Abimbola Adefuye Adaramola (aka YEYE – OBA) was born into
the family of Prince Julius Ajibola & Chief (Mrs) Comfort Mopelola
Adefuye. (known worldwide as Beere of the Universe) on the 5th day of July 1982. It is noteworthy that she is the second daughter and child of a family
of four.
She
began her early education at Crownrise Montessori School, Mafoluku, Lagos
State, Thereafter, she proceeded to Nigeria Airport Authority Staff School for
her Primary Education. On completion of her 1st school leaving certificate
programme, she was admitted into Anglican Girls Model College, Surulere, Lagos
State where she was crowned MISS ANGLICAN in 1999, the same year she graduated
in high school, and secured a provisional offer to study for Diploma in Law at
the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos. In order to raise her stakes in her
future life, she proceeded to the renowned and prestigious Covenant University,
Ota, Ogun, where she was one of the pioneer graduates; she meritoriously bagged
a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication.
Upon
graduating, she aligned herself with the National Youth Service Corp by serving
at the Kwara State Government House, Ilorin, Kwara State. In pursuit of her
dreams, she sought and secured employment with Arik Airlines and performed
exceptionally well at various job descriptions and roles.
She
further embarked on some courses in the IATA training programme and simulation
courses. After a compelling career in the Aviation industry, she joined Pacama
Global Resources Nigeria Limited, a fully owned family business and helped
steer the course of its growth.
She
held several positions which include Human Resources and Corporate Relations
Manager. She is currently sitting on the board as an Executive Director, she
got married to Barrister Kunle Adaramola in 2009 and the union is blessed with
three adorable kids.
An
avid reader, she also loves cooking for her pet dogs, and her openness to learning
is noteworthy. Her life’s values are Trust, Honesty, Compassion and Mutual
Respect. Her life truly and genuinely illuminates how selfless her love towards
family is. Her compassion for the less privileged in society is remarkable. She
continues to be a trailblazer in efforts aimed at the development of women.
She
has an unusual Grace for problem-solving and a famous reputation for the cause
of philanthropy. Notwithstanding, she can be quite shy with her amiable
personality, she could be very fun loving, hilarious but she seldom exhibits
her polished smile. She wishes to emphasize the role of her MOTHER who is her
role model in life.
When
the story of Yeye-Oba is being told, emphasis should be made, that she is
resilient. Her birthday was a classy party to remember.
