Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors Hold Free Medical Outreach For Lagosians

The Ikeja GRA Axis of Lagos went agog on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, as the Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors, a non-governmental support group within the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Lagos threw their weights behind Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is running for a second term in office.

Lagos citizens from the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas (LCDAs) were fully represented at the free medical outreach where medical experts and certified natural health experts attend to patients free of charge on their varying health challenges.

Popular Lagos businesswoman, Hajia Tai Elemosho-Okediji, the Director-General of the Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors while speaking to City People revealed that the group believes in the good works of the incumbent governor and reiterated that with his level of achievement within three years, he would transform Lagos to a mini-London if given more time to perform.

According to her, the purpose of the group is to support Gov. Sanwo-Olu in every way and ensure that he retains his seat after the 2023 general election as well as the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Our intention is to go round all local government areas and local council development areas in Lagos, all wards, all the streets and even reaching out to all families in Lagos and convince them to vote for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu again and also our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu is doing well in Lagos and we are all proud of him. If he has not done well, nobody would be able to come out and campaign for him, we would all have buried our faces in shame. He has done so much in the area of health, roads, housing and infrastructures at large. He has commissioned more than 16 housing units across Lagos in just three and half years and I know that he still has about 8 to be commissioned in the next two months. It should have been done if not for the consistent rain that we’ve had in the last couple of months.

“In the area of education too, the governor is not lagging behind. He has built a good number of modern schools and Lagosian are now attending at very affordable rates. He has also remodelled and renovated more schools in his first term in office. That is why we could boldly come out to show our support for the man who is on a mission to move Lagos to greater heights.

“The people you are seeing here are from different local councils in Lagos and they are receiving free medical checkups, courtesy of the Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors. When these people get to their various destinations, they will be the ones to spread the gospel of the Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors to their friends, family and loved ones.

“We have trained medical experts here as you can see and there is also a natural health consultant who will tell them the natural ways of treating different ailments they are being diagnosed with.

“This is just our starting point; we are taking the outreach to all the council areas within Lagos before the next elections.

Present at the event was Mr Akinduro Charles Ilesanmi, the State Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Organisation, TSO. He was also inducted into the Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors at the event.

The first 100 participants at the event went home with free gifts aside from the free medical outreach. Also present at the event was Otunba Hammed Gafar, the coordinator of the Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors.
