There was tension around Nwagene, Onitsha, as the Anambra State Government ordered the demolition of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, a church, owned by Prophet Odumeje.
It was gathered that the demolition exercise started on Thursday morning. In a clip, Prophet Odumeje was seen pleading for help as security personnel landed slaps on his face to prevent him from accessing his church building.
Officials of the state government declined to speak with our reporter at the time of filing-in this report.
