On Saturday, August 20, 2022, the entire Oro community in Kwara State became a mini-pilgrimage as guests trooped in from Lagos, the US, the UK, Abuja, Ondo State and other top cities for a wedding of the century between Toluwalase Abolarin and Timilehin Akegbejo.
It was a celebration of love, affluence and style as the J.K Solomon All Nations Disciples of Christ Evangelistic Mission auditorium was filled to the brim. The guests were not deterred by the long distance and the rainy weather, they all made it to the occasion and had maximum fun.
The mother of the groom is the popular UK-based health worker, Mrs Fausat Olabisi Odeyale -Akegbejo. She came down all the way from Coventry City in the UK to attend her son's wedding.
The groom, Timilehin Akegbejo currently works with Exxon Mobil, he bagged his first degree at the University of Lagos and his master's degree in faraway Coventry, UK.
The engagement party later took place at the Oro Community Grammar School, Oro, Kwara State. There was more than enough to eat and drink. The entire community felicitated with the couple because they had a fair share of what a classy wedding party should look like.
Let's also quickly tell you that the bride's family, The Abolarin are very popular in Oro. It wasn't a surprise when the engagement venue was filled to the brim. The couple and their parents are well-loved.
