Otunba & Olori AJAYI'S Son, FOLAHAN Weds OLAIDE AGARAH

The Ogudu area of Lagos was utterly shut down on Saturday, July 30th, 2022 as popular Lagos caterer, Olori Olayinka Ajayi, the CEO of Lafunshy Kitchen Ltd. Threw a very classy wedding for her son, Folahan Michael weds his lover, Olaide Hannah Agarah.

The 3-in-1 event was held at the popular Detutu Events Center in Ogudu, Lagos. Top celebrities from Lagos, Ijebu-Ode and Ido-Ani in Ondo State were present at the event.

Let’s quickly tell you that the parents of the couple are popular socialites who have done well for themselves and their immediate communities. Otunba Funso Ajayi, a popular Ijebu-Ode businessman and socialite is the father of the groom. The bride’s family aren’t doing badly too. They are the popular Agarah family of the late Prince Samson Agarah in Ido-Ani, Ose Local Government in Ondo State.

There was maximum entertainment as music was provided by both traditional and regular live band singers as well as a popular Lagos disc jockey, DJ Moolexi.

PROPHET SAMSON AYORINDE’S WEBIC JOINS THE COUPLE

The day started in a big way, the church wedding was conducted by the popular Prophet Samson Ayorinde, the founder of the World Evangelism Bible Church (WEBIC) and his other anointed ministers of God.

Prophet Ayorinde enjoined the couple to remain in love and uphold their faith in the Lord as he will see them through difficult times. He wasted no time as he conducted the joining before the couple and the entire congregation got ready for the traditional marriage.

 

LADY BISBAM, EJ_SWAGS ANCHORS TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE

Alaga Iyawo is a very popular name on Instagram, she is also popularly known as Lady Bisbam but her real name is Mrs Bisola Bamidele, she is the CEO of BisBam Communications Ltd. She has conducted many popular weddings and has been in the business for more than 32 years. She was the Alaga Ijoko who represented the bride’s family. She did a very good job, wasted no time and ensured that all the guests were carried along at the party. Not just her alone, the Alaga Iduro was also very wonderful. Her name is Mrs Oluwashola Adewale, she is known as ej_swag_realities on Instagram. Her performance was also memorable for the guests.

 

COUPLE’S PARENTS STUN IN BURNT ORANGE ATTIRES

The parents of the couple were very fascinating at the party. The Ajayis who are the parents of the groom and the Agaras, the parents of the bride were gorgeously dressed in burnt orange attires. The Aso-Oke was beautifully styled and properly suited them. Their outlooks didn’t just talk about class, it also expressed affluence.

 

ARMY GREEN AND BABY PINK RULED THE DAY

The party was such a colourful one. The guests and members of the groom’s family all came in their pink and peach lace Aso-Ebi while the bride’s family members and guests stunned in Mint and Army Green lace Aso-Ebi. The auditorium was completely filled with highly placed individuals who came to honour both the couple and their parents.

 

YEYE OBA ANIMASHAUN OLUGBADE III IN EPE LEADS OTHER TOP DIGNITARIES

We told you that the event was filled with classy guests! One of the biggest names at the event was the Yeye Oba Animashaun, the mother of HRH, Oba Animashaun Olugbade the III, the ruler of the Epe Community in Lagos. She came quite early to the event and made some cash statements before leaving the party. She was spotted a couple of times spraying the couple, Olori Ajayi as well as the musicians. Also spotted at the event was Major General Balogun (Rtd.) among several others.

 

ONE EVENT, THREE MUSICIANS, HUNDREDS OF GUESTS

Did we tell you that the event had different music supplies for all the categories of guest presents? The first was the traditional singer all the way from Ido-Ani. This band provided light entertainment when there were interludes at the party. Not just interludes, they also ushered in the bride and groom’s mother. The groove didn’t stop with the Ido-Ani cultural band, there was also DJ Moolexi who turned the lights up for the young people at the party.

The leading live band that gave the real owambe gig was the St. Charles Band which is ably led by Toye Ibesanmi. The band gave all the grooves you can ever imagine at any classy Owambe party. It crossed from one genre of music to another and still performed excellently.

 

PARROT PRINCE ANCHORS RECEPTION PARTY

His real name is Tijuru Oluwasegun but he’s mostly referred to as Parrot Prince. He is a comedian, compere and classy Master of Ceremony. He anchored the reception and did a very good job. He carried both the young and old along and ensured that all the guests had a swell time at the party. His games were fun for the couple as well as the guests. One way he was able to arrest the attention of the guests was the fastest finger games where he gave out recharge cards of N1000 of different networks to his guests.

 

SMART E FABRICS DELIVERED ASO-EBI

Not many would know that the Groom’s mother’s outfits were sourced from Korea; City People’s findings revealed that Olori Ajayi’s first and second outfits were sourced from different countries. Mrs Adenike Busari, the MD of Smart E Fabrics was also at the event and she told City People how she was able to comb different countries of the world in other to get the best of the best Aso-Ebi materials.

 

BANKY W IN DA BUILDING

Another big name stormed the party just as 'the gbedu was entering body'. Popular Hip-Hop act cum politician, Bankole Wellington came through for the couple. Banky W as he is famously called recently won the primary election to represent the PDP in his quest to get a seat in the House of Representatives during the 2023 general elections. The husband of actor, Adesuwa Etomi will be contesting the legislative seat for the Eti-Osa Constituency.

 

YORUBA TENNIS CLUB, MODERATE CLUB MEMBERS ALL IN ATTENDANCE

The Yoruba Tennis Club Chairman, Chief Euzebio Babajide Damazio led a group of other members to the party. They all came for Olori Ajayi. A team of about seven members were spotted at the party. Also at the party were the members of Moderates The Club of Lagos, Moderates was incorporated in 1987 as a social club and it has professionals across all walks of life as members. They proved their worth at the party.

 

WEBIC MEN’S FELLOWSHIP STOOD BY OLORI AJAYI

Olori Ajayi is one of the strongest members of WEBIC. This was proven by the large quality of the members of the church that attended her son’s wedding. We already told you that the founder, Prophet Samson Ayorinde was in attendance. But it wasn’t just only him, the members of the men’s fellowship, the strongest arm of the church were also present. They showered so much love on Olori Ajayi and her family members. They also presented different gifts to the newest couple in town.

 

EKITI EX-GOV., AYO FAYOSE’S MUM IN THE VIP SECTION

The VIP section of the event had big names coming in and going out at intervals. One of such big names was the mother of the former governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Peter Fayose. She is a prophetess and she was seen praying for the couple and their parents. Her name is Prophetess Victoria Fayose. Seated rightly beside her at the reception party was Prophetess Mercy Ayorinde, the wife of Prophet Samson Ayorinde.

 

THE VENDORS DIDN’T DISAPPOINT

It is gradually becoming a norm for vendors to be overwhelmed by the number of guests at their party but this was a different story entirely. The vendors were fully prepared for the large crowd and there was plenty to eat and drink event after many of the guests had gone. It was indeed a great day for the vendors and the hosts as there were no visible lapses.
